Today I wanted to share with you a special email that was not
written by me it was written by a good friend, patient, and
student Vincent Palko.
For those of you that don't know Vince he's the guy the created
the Qi Toon that I proudly display on website.

I love when kids naturally make-up words of their own.
For example, one of Sophia's words some time back
was mistaking wrinkles as krinkles.
"Daddy, why does that guy have so many krinkles on his face."
This after watching an interview with Keith Richards one night
while sitting next to me on the couch.
A true observant art-eest.
Tis a good question Sophia.
The guy smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish was
going to be my response.
But I kept that to myself.
I simply said, "some people get them worse than others."
Now, I thought I knew what the answer was. But I only had "one half" of the equation.
You see, all the talk about proper hydration made sense to me.
Otherwise, your bodily organs dry up from the inside out.
As a result, your skin shrivels up like a prune.
The other part came from listening to an expert in
the field of natural healing. My good friend
Dr. Wu Dhi shared to a group recently what keeps wrinkles away.
Side note: I have yet to discover a wrinkle on Wu Dhis face, and he
is approaching 65 years of age.
Dr. Wu spoke about how wrinkles start as a result of
your internal organs being weak and lacking the Qi (energy)
they need to stay healthy and vibrant.
As a result, the skin shows on the outside what's going on in the inside.
Hence, a face scarred with pronounced wrinkles.
So lets go back to the extreme. The celebrity Sophia commented on...
The truth of the matter is our friend's organs are hanging on
by a thread. His lungs & liver have detiriorated something fierce.
Therefore, his face reveals whats happened to his organs.
Tis amazing he still stands to play the guitar.
The human body truly is an amazing piece of machinery.
Now most people have NOT damaged their body as much.
Yet, throughout the course of a lifetime not moving
the Qi through their body has an effect on the internal organs
and consequently the skin. What starts as little wrinkles turns into deeper ones.
Yet, if you move the Qi throughout the internal body
you can intercept the aging process and actually reverse it.
So in summary, what leads to healthy, smooth skin is two-fold:
1- proper hydration
2- strong, healthy, energized organs
Back to Dr Wu. His created a course

One of the great things about having you on my email list is
that I can send you an email on-the-fly just like I do with all
my friends and family.
Tonight I want to use that to tell you about tonight's Lunar
eclipse and a special exercise you can practice if you have the
Recharging Qi Gong.
Tonight on Wednesday February 20 at 10:37pm we will observe a
lunar eclipse.
At this time emotions tend to run high. A lunar eclipse signals
change in the emotional areas of life, and since people
naturally fear change, they can tend to become tense prior to
an eclipse in simple terms STRESSED OUT, especially if they are
dealing with big emotional issues in their lives. As the
eclipse approaches, tension builds until finally, it is
released with the darkening of the moon.
In the Recharging Qi Gong Program I have included a free gift
and an important one.
The Using Stress as an Ally booklet. In that booklet there is a
special Exercise that I learned from a Lama three decades ago.
It's called the Tension Release exercise and this exercise will
give you a valuable tool to transform the stress into your own

I remember being a kid in school and passing out little
valentines on Valentines day. I would give one to everyone but
I always saved the best one for that girl I had a crush on.
I would always pick out the candy heart with the words "Be
Mine" to make sure that one was left on her desk with the
little note.
Looking back, it was a very cute but it also had that childlike
sincerity that becomes rare as we get older.
Well, I want to start that up again.
The best Valentines are the ones you make yourself and here's

This is actually much more than a valentine it represents not
just an open heart it represents all the chakras of the body
being open and all the meridians flowing.
Be sure to print this one up and stick it on the fridge as a
reminder to practice a little Qi Gong every day. I just tried
it and this one prints up great on a color printer.

Are you a Rat?
Today is the first day of the New Year in both China and Tibet
and 2008 is the Year of the Rat.
In our home, growing up, the worse thing you could call someone
was a "Rat." I remember my younger brother and I would always
tease each other and call each other a "Dirty Rat".
Man, did that make us mad but in China, they don't see Rats in
an entirely negative light.
The quality of a Rat is an opportunist with an eye for a
bargain, Rats tend to collect and hoard, but are unwilling to
pay too much for anything.
Rats are devoted to their families, particularly their children.
Quick-witted and passionate, they are capable of deep emotions
despite their cool exteriors.
Rats are blessed with one of the best intellects going.
There will be plenty of rewards for those born this year for
all the people born in Rat years.

Why the most important thing is the same thing

I got up this morning before the sun had come up. The birds
were signing outside like they always do and I was doing what I
always do.
Every morning when I awake I say the same thing.
And every morning when I awake I do the same thing.
The keeping of this secret builds the power of these words and
movements every day that they are done.
As a Master of Medical Qi Gong and a practitioner of the
healing arts for well over 30 years you may want to know the
secret practices that I do but I would tell you this...
What I do is not so much as important as the doing.
If you want to go even further beyond that it's not even the
doing it's the showing up as doing.
Or if you want to be Zen about it, Who's showing up doing is

a little B-ball and the martial arts. Yes! I have been active.
When you meet me you'll see for yourself I look at least 15
years younger than my actual age but the real deal why father
time has spared me from and early grave is "The Internal
Exercises."
When we are young we can run our body into the ground and eat
almost anything we want with no or little side effects. But as
we get older we start to age from the inside out.
Our internal organs start to age first.
Why?
Well as we get older the organs start to do a few things they
drop from gravity and lack of tone.
The organs also heat up and too much heat causes another
problem.
They atrophy.
That's right they dry up like a prune and it will show in your
face your body and your lack of flexibility.

Where you are in your life today is where you made an
appointment to be five years ago.
Where you'll be five years from now will be determined by your
actions today and in the future.
Every day you book a seat on the bus to old age and illness
unless you make a conscious choice and jump on the bullet train
to looking, feeling, and being younger in your body and mind.
So how do you book your ticket to being younger.
The first step towards looking, feeling, and being younger is
to decide that you're not going to stay where you are.
You can't stand still in life or you end up riding the down
escalator.
Consider this.
Are you habitually being dragged along by your destructive
habits of over eating , eating the wrong stuff, watching hours
of energy sucking television, getting zapped by the computer,
or staying up late?
What habits have you developed for your health?
Now is the time to make the shift to a more positive program.
I'm going to start you off in the right direction with the 9
easy steps of the Qi Gong Apprentice. Then it will be up to you
to follow me the rest of the way.
Here we go.
1. The first thing to do is get, and keep, yourself well
hydrated. If you're putting on weight it could just be a
problem of dehydration. Things like body fat, poor muscle tone,
digestive complications, muscle soreness, even water-retention
problems are all related to you not drinking enough Water. It's
possible to go without food for a few months, but without water
you'll start to age faster in only a few days. Many of us live
in a dehydrated state and don't have a clue.
2. Start programming your body and brain with a regular wake
and sleep time. When you sleep correctly your body is recharged
from primordial Qi, the mind is cleared of clutter, muscles
grow, the immune system is strengthened and wounds of all kinds
are healed.
Pass on a good nights sleep and be prepared to be greeted by
the three ugly dwarfs in the morning "Irritable", "Forgetful",
and "Depressed".
3. Avoid caffeine none-after 2:00 pm. Around the clock caffeine
can put stress on the adrenals, weaken the kidneys (you may
even feel it in your low back), and worst of all gradually
start to increase your addiction to coffee and other stimulants
while at the same time they lose their kick.
4. No Alcohol at least a few hours before bed it can disturb
your sleep alcohol may have a sedating effect at first, and
then it tends to rile you in the middle of the night, causing
restless sleep and snoring.
5. A gentle work out like Yoga or Qigong a few hours before
bedtime will improve sleep.
6. Create your own relaxing rituals before bed; such as take
shower to clean off the days physic debris. It will work
wonders.
7. Do the Tension Release Exercise* to clear your mind of
useless accumulated tensions (mind chatter). This exercise is
taught in the Free Report "Using Stress as an Ally" that you
get with the power pack that is the Recharging Qi Gong.

8. Eat at least one meal with a friend or family every day,
it's a nourishment of another kind that we all need.
9. Get into doing an exercise program, a real workout everyday.
Work your body and it will serve you.
Practice these 9 steps of the Qi Gong apprentice and you will
notice a humongous change in the next thirty days.
